Contact CluedUp
Reach the CluedUp editorial team at [email protected] for corrections, questions, press and partnerships. We cannot access or process your official accounts.
Get in touch
We welcome corrections, feedback, and questions about our guides. The best way to reach the CluedUp editorial team is by email at [email protected]. We read every message that comes in.
What to include
To help us respond quickly and usefully, please include:
- The exact page or URL you are writing about
- What you think is wrong, unclear, or out of date
- A link to the official source if you have one
- For general questions, enough detail for us to understand what you are trying to do
The more specific your message, the faster we can act on it. A one-line note that simply says a page is “wrong” gives us little to work with, whereas a message that quotes the sentence in question and points to the official portal lets us verify and fix it the same day. Please do not send us any sensitive personal information (see the safety note below). We do not need it, and we do not want to receive it.
What to expect
CluedUp is run by a small editorial team, so we cannot promise instant replies. We aim to review correction reports promptly because accuracy matters most to us, and we respond to other messages as quickly as we reasonably can. If your message is urgent and relates to an official service, please contact the relevant government department directly through its official portal.
What we cannot do
We want to be completely clear about our limits, because confusion here can be costly:
- We are not an agent, broker, or representative of any government department.
- We cannot check your SASSA, SRD, NSFAS, SARS or Home Affairs status.
- We cannot submit, approve, speed up, or cancel any application.
- We cannot recover a lost grant payment, reset your account, or change your details.
- We cannot access any government system on your behalf.
For any of those, you must use the official government portal or contact the department directly. Our guides explain how to do exactly that, and where possible we link straight to the correct page so you are not left searching. If you are unsure which department handles your issue, tell us what you are trying to achieve and we can point you to the right official channel, even though we cannot act on your behalf once you are there.
Press and partnerships
For media enquiries, partnership proposals, or advertising questions, email [email protected] with “Press” or “Partnership” in the subject line. Please note that partnerships and advertising never influence our editorial guidance, and we do not accept payment to present a private service as an official one. You can read more about how we work on our About page.
A serious safety note
CluedUp will never ask you for your ID number, SASSA PIN, one-time PIN (OTP), banking details, or passwords, and neither will any legitimate government service by email or text message. Please never share those details with us or with anyone who contacts you claiming to be from a government department, a bank, or CluedUp. If someone asks you to pay a fee to “unlock” a grant, or to confirm your OTP, it is a scam. When in doubt, stop, and verify directly on the official government portal before you act.
